"After Dr. Tamesis Sr. passed away in 1995, my mother and siblings decided we had to reorient our clinic into a multispecialty eye center to improve our capabilities. New equipments were installed for diagnostic studies like Fluorescein Angiography, OCT, Octopus perimeter, A and B scans, Specular microscopy, lasers, and surgical machines for cataract surgery. Our center now includes specialists for Retina, Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, Glaucoma, Oculoplastic, External Diseases and Cornea, and Neuroophthalmology. We still have our ENT clinic and two Cardiologists-Internists. An optical shop was also set up for eyeglasses and contact lens dispensing by licensed Optometrists. The clinic has come a very long way for which my late father and mother designed it to be.
